Our Design Philosophy
Logan Land Strategies is a South Florida-based landscape architecture firm specializing in the design of high-end residential landscapes, including outdoor spaces, gardens, and terraces. We collaborate on projects across the country and internationally to bring our clients’ dreams and goals to life. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with our clients and collaborators remains one of the company’s top priorities, as we believe no company can succeed without its counterparts.
Our design philosophy emphasizes a refined, simple, modern, and sophisticated approach to achieving the highest quality results. We carefully select plant species that are well-suited to each location, adding depth and dimension through textures and blooms.
Founded in 2023 and led by Ngim Sherry Gonzalez, the company’s mission is to add meaningful value to every project by leaving a consciously designed imprint on the land—one that is appropriate, sensitive, functional, beautiful, and, above all, timeless.
The Design Process
Discovery & Design
We believe the first step in a project is listening to the client’s goals and wishes. Using this information, our team evaluates the site’s opportunities and constraints and reviews agency requirements to propose a design concept that addresses all needs effectively.
Collaboration & Design Development
We highly value collaboration with the design team, ensuring the final product is well-coordinated across all disciplines and trades.
Construction Administration
While construction documents are essential for translating ideas into actionable plans, we believe construction administration and on-site observation are equally vital to a project’s success. These steps ensure that execution aligns seamlessly with the vision and expectations outlined in the design drawings.
The Designer
Ngim Sherry Gonzalez brings over 26 years of landscape architectural experience to her practice in South Florida. Her leadership roles in internationally renowned landscape architecture companies throughout her career underscore her commitment to high standards and the management of complex projects worldwide. She has successfully led hundreds of constructed projects spanning intimate gardens, high-end residential gardens, university campuses, large-scale parks and campsites, and luxury high-rise condos, resulting in the attainment of several prestigious awards.
Ngim earned her Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture from Temple University in Ambler, Pennsylvania. This comprehensive education along with her work experience provided her with a deep understanding of plant selection and design, environmental stewardship, construction and most importantly- the client.
In 2023, Ngim founded Logan Land Strategies, naming the company after her hometown in Philadelphia where she learned the importance of customer service, hard work, commitment, and integrity which drives the success of her practice.
